Writer, comedian, and self-described chaos enthusiast, Vanessa Lépine brings her signature mix of charm, vulnerability, and biting wit to the stage. Her latest one-woman show, Love, BDSM & Anxiety, dives into the beautiful mess of relationships, therapy, and self-discovery—with punchlines that hit a little too close to home (in the best way).
Originally from Québec, Vanessa now splits her time between Switzerland and France—though everyone knows her heart truly belongs in Lausanne. She performs in both French and English around the world, and tonight, we’re lucky to have her on stage in English.
Like a true Gen X trailblazer, Tara Calihman left the U.S. before it was trendy. She’s now based in Dublin, holds an Irish passport, and brings a decade of expat wisdom (and wit) to her work as a writer, performer, and co-host of GTFO Pod—a podcast about the dream of leaving the U.S.
Making her Swiss debut, Tara arrives with a sharp sense of humor honed through years in stand-up, improv, and surviving tech bros. Whether she’s helping startups tell better stories or turning awkward truths into unforgettable punchlines, her mission is simple: say the thing everyone’s thinking, but funnier.

After finalizing her divorce, Laura moved from the U.S. to Lausanne, then Tokyo, and back to Lausanne (with her cat, Minnie, in tow). And built the space she wished she had when she was dealing with the messy parts of life after divorce—where women could feel seen, supported, and inspired again. She’ll be your host for the evening, with a few of her own stories to share.
