In late spring, friends started texting me this article:

It’s a trend that’s taking the internet by storm for the second (or third?) time this summer. Now, maybe its final spin around the internet as we roll into cuffing season.
In July, for our monthly community call in the DD club, I used this article as a starting point for our decision. See, as part of the Dispatched Divorcée community membership, we meet once a month to talk. This is the “support group”/”see and be seen” portion of the community that’s so important to building your life, figuring out who you are, what stories you want to keep, and what stories you want to shed as part of your identity in this part of your life…which happens to be after divorce.
The call inspired quite an interesting discussion, and I thought you might enjoy reflecting on this article, too.
So, below are excerpts from the article and discussion questions. If you have divorced women in your life, feel free to take these questions to your next ladies’ night out. If you’re by yourself, you can use these discussion questions as journaling prompts – take the prompts that speak to you, leave the rest.
And if you’d like to join us at our next club meeting, we’re running a special. Use this code: BACKTOME26 for a discount on membership by the end of September.
Lots of love,
Laura
