Introducing DDOTM: Divorcee Diva of the Month

There are times when you won’t feel great. That’s just how it will be sometimes because going through a divorce is hard. Maybe, during those times, all you want is to know that one day, things will get better

And who better to read about stories like that than celebrities? Learning from a famous person who has been divorced many more times than you, with much more money than you, can provide all the motivation you need, with a healthy dose of escapism.

We want to amplify the stories of women who have rocked it hard after divorce. Celebrate those who have gone before us, who have stepped into their power after leaving a marriage, and who have paved the way for our own journeys. Bonus points if they did it in sequins!

Because when you’re feeling weak or scared, it can help to read about someone else who felt the same way and then came out the other side, stronger and smarter.

Sometimes you just want to hear from a badass bitch that went through it. And that’s who we want to profile. Women who did the hard things and then went on to do even more amazing things. Whether real or fictional, we thought it would be fun to do a deep dive on different women who thrived after divorce. We’re calling it our Divorcee Diva of the Month.

We have a growing list of those we want to profile, but welcome your suggestions as well! And these divas don’t need to be celebrities–if someone who is divorced and not a celebrity has inspired you, let us know; we’d love to highlight them too.

Who do you want us to profile? Give us a shout with your idea and we’ll be sure to include it!
