What is Ladies’ Night?
Ladies’ Night is a live storytelling show where divorced women (and a few of our friends) take the stage and share true stories from the messy, liberating, hilarious phases of life after divorce.
It’s part of a tradition of live storytelling where the storyteller tells a true story from their life. Picture it as a conversation with your best friends that you wish didn’t end — but from a stranger on stage.

Fuck that.
This night is about different kinds of love stories — the ones that don’t end with romance or “I do.” Stories about the friends who saved you. The stranger you met once who changed you.
The passions, obsessions, and unexpected bonds that held you together when romance didn’t. Stories where you are the center of the story. Stories where love looks strange, funny, unfinished, and earth-shattering in different ways.
It's a curated show, not an open mic

Everyone is welcome to the show — that includes humans who identify as women, men, non-binary; married, divorced, queer, straight, widowed, single, etc. However, please note that the content of this show is created for divorced women.

We’re looking for storytellers who want to take the stage on at our next show in Lausanne. Your story can be funny, messy, vulnerable, liberating — the only requirement is that it’s yours.
We’re looking for stories from writers, comedians, performers, and anyone who hasn’t told their story in public before.

Do I have to be divorced to attend?
Not at all — your civil status is not required to attend (and enjoy!) the show.
Can men attend?
Yep! Men are invited, but please note that the content of this show is for women who are going through a divorce.
What language is the show in?
English, with some french notes here and there.
How long does it last?
About 3 hours, including intermission, with a DJ afterparty in case you don’t want to go home yet. 🙂
Can I share my story if I’m not a writer or a performer?
Yes — apply to be a storyteller! If you’re selected, we’ll support you through the process (including an optional workshop if you want more help on writing your story).

About Dispatched Divorcée
Dispatched Divorcée is a global community helping women own their voice and confidently build the life they want after divorce.
Founded in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2024, we bring women together both online and in person — starting in the city where our story began. Through retreats, resources, a shop, and live events, we make post-divorce life less lonely, less shameful, and a whole lot more joyful.
