Call for Stories from Writers, Comedians, Divorcées & Women
We’re looking for a small, curated group of storytellers to take the stage and tell their “hot mess” story at our next Ladies’ Night show in Lausanne, Switzerland. Your story can be funny, messy, vulnerable, liberating — the only requirement is that it’s yours and true.
Ideally, we’re looking for stories from women who are divorced. And, we welcome stories from you if you don’t identify as a woman or divorced, as long as it fits with the theme.

No experience? No problem. We’re offering a writing workshop if you know you have a story to share and want some help crafting it.

Life after divorce isn’t all clean lines and fresh starts. It’s figuring it out as you go. Crying in the bathroom one day and laughing at yourself the next. It’s freedom, chaos, and becoming someone new.
And sometimes, the best stories come straight from the hot mess.

What is Ladies’ Night?
After a premiere that left the everyone buzzing, Ladies’ Night is back — bigger, bolder, and messier.
Ladies’ Night is a live storytelling show where divorced women (and a few friends of divorcées) take the mic to share true stories from the messy, liberating, hilarious phases of life after divorce.
It’s part of a tradition of live, true storytelling: one person, one mic, maybe reading from their diary. The kind of stories that make you lean forward, laugh, and feel less alone. Stories shaped from real life — sometimes raw, sometimes ridiculous, and usually unforgettable.
Picture it as that conversation with your best friends around brunch that you wish didn’t end — and on stage.
If you come alone, please say hi to me, Laura, I’ll be checking you in at the door. I promise, you won’t feel alone for long and might go home with a new best friend. 🙂

Writing Workshop
I needed a little push and structure to get myself to write and share stories on stage. Maybe you could use that too?
In the weeks leading up to the show, I’m hosting a Writing Workshop. This class is designed for those who know they have a story, but might not be sure how to tell it.
Let’s workshop it.
In this class, you’ll get guidance, structure, and encouragement to write your hot mess story. You can bring a draft or just an idea, and together we’ll shape it into a story you’ll feel confident sharing on stage.
Trust me, I’m going to be writing my piece along with you.
