Retreat Participation Agreement

• Retreat Dates: June 16 to June 20, 2026

1. Purpose

This agreement outlines the terms under which the participant books and attends a retreat organized by Dispatched Divorcée.

2. Registration & Deposit

To reserve a spot, a non-binding pre-sale deposit of CHF 500 is required.

3. Payment Terms

The full payment must be completed by June 10, 2026, through this product page: https://dispatcheddivorcee.com/product/basel-art-summer-camp-retreat/. Accepted payment methods include credit card, bank transfer, or other methods approved by the Organizer.

4. What’s Included

• Hosted experience with programming curated and organized by Organizer 
• 4-night accommodations in a 6-person dorm with a wash basin – shared by our group only (all female). Communal bathrooms and showers.
• Welcome apéro, daily breakfast, and scheduled meals (2 dinners, 1 lunch)
• Access to the Basel Art Summer Camp programming included: Welcome Party (June 16), Ladies’ Night (June 18), closing party (June 20)
• Plus, access to 2 more BASC workshops of your choice (full program listed here)
• Discount code if you’d like to attend more BASC events and workshops listed here https://www.artmuseumsoftheworld.com/events (must register and pay for own workshop or events; discount applied with discount code)
• 1-day ticket to Art Basel

5. Not Included

Participants are responsible for:

• Airfare and transport to/from retreat location
• Travel health insurance (strongly recommended)
• Personal expenses, additional meals, optional extras 

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Once participation is confirmed, all payments are non-refundable.

All payments are done in CHF via https://dispatcheddivorcee.com/product/basel-art-summer-camp-retreat/. 

In exceptional cases (e.g. force majeure), the Organizer may approve a refund, from which up to 10% may be deducted as an administrative fee.

If the Organizer must cancel the retreat (e.g. low registration, force majeure), all payments will be refunded in full.

7. Insurance & Liability

The participant is solely responsible for securing travel health insurance.

The Organizer is not liable for:

• Travel delays, cancellations, or missed connections
• Loss, theft, or damage to personal items
• Illness, injury, or dissatisfaction experienced during the retreat

8. Medical & Dietary Needs

Participants must inform the Organizer of any health conditions, allergies, or dietary needs in advance. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate them.

9. Code of Conduct

A respectful, inclusive environment towards other participants is expected at all times. The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant for disruptive or unsafe behavior without refund.

10. Media Consent

By participating, the attendee consents to being photographed or filmed during the retreat. The Organizer may use images or recordings for marketing and communications, including on websites and social media.

If the participant does not wish to appear in such media, this must be communicated in writing prior to the event.

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by Swiss law. 

Jurisdiction lies with the courts in Lausanne, Switzerland.
